This is a very important communication tool in our classroom. It is communication about class work and homework. It clearly identifies for students, parents, and teacher how students are doing with completing their assignments and working towards the third grade standards based expectations. Parents should check this tracker every weekend and sign the bottom. This tells the teacher that you've seen the grades your child has received each week. This clear communication should ensure that there are no surprises on the report card or at conferences because you and your child are receiving weekly updates about progress. If you're concerned about a grade on the tracker please write a note or schedule an appointment to come in and talk about the marks on the tracker.
